OVER 18? Yep!
CURRENT CHARACTERS: Goro Akechi
CHARACTER
NAME: Guilmon
CANON: Digimon Tamers (Japanese version)
CANON POINT: Post-series
BACKGROUND: Wikimon, Digimon Wiki
Note that the latter uses dub terminology, whereas I play Guilmon from the Japanese version. The events of the show don't differ too much between versions outside of terms, names, and tone, but I mostly want to give a heads up because of my TDM threads.
SUITABILITY: Guilmon, being from another monster franchise, fits in quite well here! He's fought many battles, gone on just as many adventures, and has an upbeat personality that lends itself well to the teamwork required in a place like this.
Since Guilmon is taken post-series, he's just been separated from Takato, albeit with the promise to reunite. As Guilmon has his fondest memories in the human world, this places him in a somewhat aimless position. However, he's boundlessly curious, eager to help others, and would revel in a chance to make new friends.
He's fairly carefree and less concerned with deep lore, but due to his experiences as a Digimon and changing forms so frequently, he may be able to provide some unique insights, even if Digimon aren't quite the same as Pokémon.
QUESTIONNAIRE:
POKEMON: Charmeleon! I originally went for Fuecoco in the TDM, but ultimately wasn't feeling it. However, in addition to Charmeleon having similar abilities to Guilmon and being a red reptile, this Pokédex entry stood out...
"It is very hotheaded by nature, so it constantly seeks opponents. It calms down only when it wins."
This fits Guilmon's more feral side, as there are moments where dangerous enemies have him so on edge that he goes wild in battle. While he's gotten a better handle on this since the start of the series, it's still an iconic aspect to the character.
GUILD OPT-OUT: Honestly, the only thing I want to note here is that I already have Akechi in Oran Berries. I do think it suits him well enough, but if the mods would like to place him in Cheri or Lum, that's totally fine! He's just a silly guy who wants to help out and eat lots of bread.
It's possible that the guild leaders noticed how adept he was already with his body and fire attacks as well as his overall very friendly personality. I'm not sure if Polteageist would see him as "worthy" per se, but the idea of him ending up in Lum is super funny to me because he's not bookish at all, but he has skills and interesting knowledge by virtue of being another 'mon of sorts.
I think he'd also get along with both Ribombee and Mightyena, too, without really questioning their leadership too much initially.

QUESTIONNAIRE:
⟡ Your character is on an exploration quest when they find an injured Pokemon in need of help. This Pokemon appears to be in distress and is quite dangerous, posing a risk to your character even if they mean well, and putting your quest mission at risk. What do they do? What are some possibilities of how they work with teammates to address this, or do they go at it alone?
Guilmon would help, of course! For as aggressive as he can get in fights, he's a sweetheart who loves to make others smile, and he's always eager to make new friends. Helping someone in danger is the right thing to do, and it's what Takato would want. Of course, he's not so proud that he'd go at it alone unless they disagreed with helping. In that case, he'd just help anyway.
⟡ Your character's worst enemy has recently appeared in game, and has joined the guild your character is part of. They both want to tackle the same quest, and your character's enemy suggests that they work together as a team to accomplish this goal. How does your character respond to this?
Guilmon forgave Impmon, a Digimon who killed the partner of one of his friends and sent Takato into such a deep rage that it caused Guilmon to evolve into a frightening, feral monster. That's not to say he's entirely stupid, but if someone shows a willingness to do good, he wouldn't fight it. I wouldn't say he has a particular enemy at this point, though if the D-Reaper appeared, I think it'd put him on edge simply due to the damage it dealt to both the real world and Digital World as a program that gained eldritch status at the end of the series.
Not to mention, it kidnapped a friend (Juri) and replaced her with a creepy puppet.
There'd be a lot of conflicted feelings in a case like this, in part because the D-Reaper was so dangerous and manipulative, but I can see a part of him understanding that it's not in its true form anymore, thus is less dangerous and maybe capable of change.
⟡ The leader of your character's guild has just approached your character with an offer: they will provide your character with extra supplies, reputation points, and help them with any of their current struggles. In exchange, they ask for your character to do a favor for them that may harm the other guilds, and will not specify what the favor is in advance. It sounds shady, but it's the deal of a lifetime in your character's path to get back home, and refusing it may cause strife for your character within their current guild. What do they think of this offer? What do they ultimately decide to do?
Guilmon would be a little anxious, I think. He's been pressured before by the likes of Impmon into doing things that upset his partner, Takato. This is much earlier in the series, but I think Guilmon would ask a lot of questions. He's ultimately very child-like, and he'd want to know how this deal might affect his friends both in the guild and outside of it. He doesn't want to hurt them just because they aren't on the same team!
Basically, he'd probably be super annoying with questions and making sure people will be safe and won't get mad at him because as much as he misses Takato, he doesn't want to make a bad choice.
⟡ Due to shortages on supplies, the city is facing issues deciding where to cut corners during this rough time. Somehow, the responsibility has fallen on your character's shoulders, and they have to make a decision. If they send out an extra team of Pokemon, they will be able to gather more food, and through that, save the lives of dozens of starving Pokemon that were in dire need of nutrition. However, the only Pokemon available to scout for food are those working at the pokeclinic, and sending them out would mean certain death for at least two ill patients. What does your character decide to do? How do they feel about this choice, and how would they deal with the pushback that comes from either side?
Guilmon would be IMMENSELY distressed. It's such a sad thing to put on his shoulders, and he wouldn't know what to do. Ultimately, I can see one of two options:
a) Guilmon tries to go do it himself, maybe asking friends to help even if they weren't told to because he and all his friends have already gone up against near impossible odds.
b) If there is absolutely no other option, he would want to save as many people as possible, and he'd be super sad and apologetic the whole time and not sure what to do.
